As we have travel across America we have run into several of the same families. It has been fun to hear their stories.
Couple things that give cross country travelers away:
First: When they stop, everyone in the vehicle makes a B-line to the nearest bathroom.
Second: Every time a car door is opened, a Happy Meal toy falls out.
Thirdly: By the third day everyone is wearing ratty old shorts, T-shirts, and flip flops (comfort over fashion).
As our trip comes to and end, we would like to get an idea of who has been reading our daily blog. Please post a quick comment and let us know who is out there.
Off to Yuma Arizona tomorrow. High 117 Low 93

You know I've read every entry
every day, several times. Loved
everything! Love you!
I've been anxiously waiting every day for the newest installment! Can't wait to get out there with you guys. I love you, Uncle Greg
Been reading every day. Reminds me of our trips out west with the RV on those same highways. Also reminds me of the horrendous head cold I had for 2 weeks on our first trip---picked it up just west of Memphis. All that red dirt blowing around.....Anyway, love y'all and am praying for you. Aunt Mary or Cousin Mary!
Watching & praying daily. Grace, Peace & Love to you all. Joey

Brother James and Family,
I have been keeping up with you all the way across the country. I am confident the crisp, refreshing ocean air of the west coast will clear up those sick noses. Talk you you soon. Matthew Mark
Love the blog. glad to hear you all are enjoying your journey. Sure miss you all.
What a crazy day in NC! Did you know it was Friday the 13th? Not that I'm superstitious or anything. I have been trying to get ready to leave early Sat for Garden City, SC, so here it is, already Sat for me. I'm running behind, as usual, so I finally made time to look at the blog. I have been looking several times daily to check your progress & read any other notes left for you. I have enjoyed your cross country trip from my computer & talking to Mom via Verizon, thank goodness for the free minutes! I am looking forward to my trip out to visit, hope it will be sooner than later. Love you all! Thanks Jim for keeping us posted, even when you were too busy or tired to do so. We will not have access to internet next week, but will be anxious to catch up when we return. Who knows, I may have to find a library or something if I get desperate. Our love to all of you!
Deb.....Tim & Daniel, too!
